Saturday morning, I could NOT find my camera!!! ARGGHHH!!! So I had to make do with my cell phone as a camera for the day. Had been planning on taking lots of fabulous pictures of Maddy's play that night.
Harrumph.
Oh well. Make do we did and Leon finally got "kind of" the hang of the car head phones. Who wants to "listen" to kid movies the whole way there? Been there, done that. And I never want to see Shark Tales, as I've heard it too many times and don't like how it sounds. The same way for Scooby Doo anymore. I recognize the people in the laugh track.
We got to Minnesota just after lunch time and took Maddy and her roommate out for shakes, then later to our favorite German joint for dinners with sauerkraut. I think that crown is crushed at the moment under a pile of diaper bag, shoes and toys in the car still...
That afternoon I napped with Leon in the dorm lounge and Maddy, Meri and others went on a walk around the campus. The couch was comfy, but I must slept on it weird. My neck was bunky for a while.
Later on, when Maddy was getting her play face on, we killed some time at Walmart.
Rumpelstiltskin was a blast! SO much fun and energy! Maddy played a very convincing daughter trying to save her family by attempting to spin straw into gold. Robb's favorite line was a bragging from the stage father that if he asked his daughter to go get him a bear, she'd bring him back a bear with chainsaws for hands. lol!
What does the fox say finale. Awesome!
So much dancing and fun, it was a shame to have the evening end!
But eventually it did.
I did get a picture of Maddy with her Miller family.
She can send them care packages over the summer.
We headed back home that night and finally got home around 1am. Sunday seemed really long, but actually flew past quickly.
OH and I did get some sewing done on Meri's dress! Well, basted anyway. I had to have SOMETHING for her to try on to test the measuring. We stopped by JoAnn's after church yesterday and picked out the real fabric for the dress. I'll show you tomorrow.
Have a good Monday. I won't say great, because I'm still kind of tired from the weekend. And I'm sure you are too. Ah what the heck. Have a great one!

That looks like so much fun! Did someone record it? Youtube? I'd love to see it.
Maddy is beautiful!
I always feel as if I've been on an adventure when I visit you!
