Oh Angry Cat! What are they feeding you?

I know what you're thinking....

Why have you angered this cat?  What are earth are you forcing it to eat?  Tomatoes???  Mushrooms??  I know several kids who would turn up their noses on that too...

This was my second attempt at sewing a Grumpy cat plushie.  Maddy is a HUGE fan of Grumpy cat.  So I was determined to make one of these for her and I did.  I made it of white furry fabric with leather &; fleece for the eyes/ears and a wee bit of pink fleece for the nose/mouth.

Leon saw me making it... 

Exact quote.  "Make mine brown."  

Okey dokey!  

So before I even stuffed Maddy's, I whipped up a quick one for Leon.  In the rush, the eyes didn't get aligned quite right and it looks even angrier than it should.  I got finished with the brown angry ball of fur while he was napping so I tucked it into bed with him so he'd find it when he woke up. 

He wandered confused and sleepy into Ryan's room carrying it and asking, "Mine??"  "Yep" and he loves it.

So anyway, when Maddy was home last weekend, Ryan showed off his and Leon's new pads to her and he showed her Leon's Grumpy cat.  She thought it was WAY cool and I found out later, she was kind of grumpy about it herself, because Grumpy Cat is HER thing!!! 

She got the white one at lunch on Sunday and was glad for her own.  That's when she confessed her grumpiness.  And it has gone back to Minnesota with her without nary a picture from me or her!  I've reminded her a few times to take a picture of the stinking thing and send it to me, but so far, no luck.  So I'm shaming her with a pic of her in chapel instead.

She's the blurry blonde blob right smack in the middle.

I think.

I very well may have shamed a complete stranger...
