Duke is good today!
Meri was upset I didn't text her at school when he was acting funky yesterday...
My bestie loved her late birthday present of Wizard of Oz stuff and the veil that I'd brought to show her.
She DIDN'T like the inappropriate possible free ecards that we were trying to send to one of her cousins last night...
Her husband sure did tho!
We had to switch sites and finally found something appropriate. Some cute little animals, like a mouse, a cat, a Chihuahua and an owl playing the Mariachi in Spanish.
I couldn't find two things this morning that kids needed... I'm slipping... One was eventually found by one kid, but the other is still being elusive. sigh. I hate to let people down.
I'm driving this afternoon to have dinner with my parents at their nursing home. We've got a private dining room to use and everything! But tomorrow at breakfast, Mom wants us to eat with the commoners... I mean with all her new friends in the common dining room.
Then I'll high tail it back home to catch Meri in her Reader's Theater performance. THEN whisk her off to get her hair and make up done by some professionals before the big Sweetheart dance that night. I'm suddenly wondering if her dress needs ironing...
Oh well, I've got to have SOMETHING to do when we finally get home tomorrow!

I'm glad that Duke is doing better. Its so hard and worrisome to watch them get old.
