Joy and despair

I met up with my niece, Amanda, last night at JoAnn's Fabric.  She loved the veil and aside from it hanging down to her calves, it was perfect.  So I'll shorten it and add a solid satin bow between the layers next to the comb.

The visit cost all of $1.06!

I had a 50% off coupon...

That small amount spent there must be a record for me!

PLUS I used my debit card for the transaction.
It's not the smallest amount I've used it on so that's no record breaker...

Amanda is on each end of the string of girls.  She was filling in for her twin last August.
Darn trick photography... They'd had me fooled!

Anyway, here is a photo of our ailing Dukus this morning.  I thought he was a goner...  I won't tell you the symptoms, because they were weird & gross.  But he perked up after about an hour and THEN was wanting to go outside.  Not sure what got into him!

Just glad he's OK now!

Hooray for small expenses!
Can't wait to see the final product.
Glad your pup is doing better.
It's always scary when that happens.
Happy Thursday! :)

That must be a record for the store! Camera tricks? It's a good one.
Poor guy. He looks pitiful.
