Randomly roasted

Leon is sitting in the bathtub behind me while I work, applying little stickers to it and himself, singing Yee-oh, Yee-oh.  It's kind of catchy...

We got to Skype with Maddy on Sunday!  I can't wait to see her next month!!!

Work has been crazy as usual.  But now the crazies are piling up on top of each other.  My to do list is getting pretty big. BUT I got a couple big issues off my back the last couple days, so I'm hoping things calm down so I can get my list to shrink up a little.

Yesterday Leon and his daddy went on an adventure!  They went to a morning movie and then walked around town visiting pets at Earl May and traipsing through some woods near Ryan's girlfriend's home.  They had a blast.  Ryan has promised him that they'll explore in our woods today.  

I really hope they don't bring home a pet...

Our nephew and his parents pulled in around 3:30 this morning.  Due to the spare bed in Leon's room, Leon stayed on a little cot in our room.  He woke up a ew times and climbed in with us.  I didn't get a whole lot of sleep...  Said nephew is going through the ISU orientation this week and we get to spoil him rotten next fall!  Yay!  By rotten, I mean that when he has time, he'll maybe come up and help us eat cake and ice cream for various birthdays.  Or maybe pop in for super secret steak night on occasion.

I watched the Steve Martin AFI roast, recorded from the other day.  I think I've only missed a couple of his movies, but I didn't know he was a writer too!  I'll check those books out and get caught up on some culture and jokes I've missed...
