They're coming to get you Barbara!

Today has started early...  Well... Work has.  Maddy has the SD card from my camera, so I'm stealing some photos from my family online that were taken this weekend.

Maddy's bf was here all last week and we had a great time picking on him.  He can take it!  and give it right back.  They had a great time hiking, playing with Leon, hanging with Meri, helping teach VBS and hanging out with us, I think...  

I hemmed up Matthews dress slacks on Saturday and got into some sewing on Sunday, making a top that needs more attention on the hem line.  I might pull it out and redo it.  That certainly did the trick for the neckline!

On Sunday, Maddy, Matthew, Robb and I hit up the newest Zombie Burger in Des Moines.  Since Zombies are all the rage these days, this is the happening place!  We've been to the main one down town before, but this one is set up like fast food at the mall, so that was a new experience.  

We brought home the Walking Ched for Meri, which is 2 deep fried patties of mac/cheese as the buns and burger in between. She had to work, but this appeased her.  

Matthew got the "They're coming to get you Barbara" burger.  Basically 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns for the burger.  Don't try this at home folks!

Maddy got the "Trailer Trash" burger.  Deep fried pickles on this puppy! 

I got the "East Village of the Damned" burger and I think Robb got the plain Cheeseburger... He's so adventuresome!  We discussed Soylent Green on the way home.  Oh, that's what they call their salads.  Soylent Greens.

AND Leon has a new baby brother.

 

Actually last weekend, but things were crazy...  

So anyway...  We've got one week left with Mabs before we take her back to college and we're going to make the most of it.  Meri and her just left for some serious all day shopping.  I hope she saves a little shopping energy for tonight with me!
