Keepin' It Real

Well... the pantless wonder is eating a heavily cream cheesed bagel right now, watching Justice League.  Ryan is making something truly wonderful-smell worthy for his breakfast and I'm working from the living room this morning while waiting for the plumber guy to come back and work on the shower.

He didn't get a chance to finish it yesterday.  Still not sure if we'll have a hole in our dining room ceiling for Thanksgiving or not.

Got a care package ready to roll as soon as I take time to run up to the post office.

The dogs are digging in the mud in the back yard and directly behind the garage looks like a mine site.  Our laundry room looks like it's been prepped for mud wrestling.

We're expecting roughly 4 inches of snow by Saturday.  I HOPE this does not interfere with my sewing group meeting!  Eh - we're Iowans!  We don't cancel ANYTHING because of weather.  Well, except school and ... oh darn.  I hope we're able to still have it.  4 inches is practically nothing here.  The only problem is everyone else has probably flushed their memory of how to drive in it.

Isn't this awesome??  A sewing friend posted it on FB recently.

Since Thanksgiving is in one week, I'm going to start our tradition that we usually do around the Thanksgiving table here.  I will say what super hero power I wish I was thankful for.  One per day until the big day!

Day 7: (We're counting down)
I would be thankful for my super hero power of super speed.  So I could all the housework and Thanksgiving prep work done lickity split and my feet wouldn't know what happened.  Because then I could relax and speed read sewing magazines!

Have a great Thursday!  Stay random people!
