The other half of the weekend... On Sunday, after church, we all went to HyChi for their Chinese buffet. YUM... Leon didn't want the usual "Chinese" pepperoni pizza and wanted the same things we did, including the Cabgoons (crab rangoons) that he loves so much. Okey dokey! It's YOUR birthday kid!!!
This photo is actually from our HuHot adventure on Saturday night.
I don't have a photo of HyChi...
After that, we picked up the cake, coincidentally from HyVee, and a few other things and headed over to the game place to go bowling! And I told all about that HERE.
Afterwards, Robb took Leon to his mom's and I took the rest of them home. Whereupon Maddy and Matthew left with me after packing up their things and we visited with Ada at the nursing home. I think she's settling in nicely but it still pains me that she has to go there so soon. Her husband is going in for surgery today. Please say a prayer for him that it goes well!
When we got home, Robb arrived too. I made enchiladas for supper to feed the kids before they had to take off. Note to self: Pick up red mild enchilada sauce to have on hand... The green is good, but red is better!
Maddy and Matthew headed back to the college and Robb and I stayed outside to see them off, waving like a couple lunatics. It's our job to embarrass our kids, right?
I spent the rest of the evening working on the ASG sewing newsletter. Got a LOT done and was able to finish it up last night.
And just as a public service announcement...
As I said yesterday, the weekend went by WAY too fast...
Today Leon is celebrating his birthday at preschool. We got fun toy bags for him to give all his classmates and didn't realize until late last night that we were supposed to take their snacks today too. Oops. So Robb will meet us at the preschool with the snacks.
Birthdaytide is a wonderful thing...
Leon's lasts until mid March!

My kids will want to be adopted by your family. Birthdays go on and on just like they like it. ;)
I remember back in the day when we had like 10 birthday parties every time one of the kids had a birthday. And since their birthdays are only 2 weeks apart, we had together parties too.
