That sounds ominous.
Leon came into my bedroom in the middle of the night and I went and got his pillow and blanket for the sleep mat we keep in here. Got him tucked in and he insisted on his Pokemon things. So in spite of my feet acting up this week, I hobbled to his room and found three stuffed Pokemon toys in his bed as well as 4 Pokemon cards.
Ryan has been rewarding him with Pokemon cards if Leon wakes up dry, etc. So he's got 4.
He must have tucked them under his pillow so I think I know what woke him up.
Probably a paper cut...
So about 20 minutes after I'm back in bed, he yells out anxiously, "TURN ON THE LIGHT! TURN ON THE LIGHT!" I roll over and turn on the lamp and he says "Oh, good. I have all my cards!" Then he goes back to sleep.
Darn Pokemon...
Wanna see something sweet?
Since my mom's fall and breaking her nose on Valentine's Day, she's not allowed to walk anywhere alone for at least a week. So my dad walked her back to her room yesterday.

That is a sweet picture of your parents. My son was obsessed with the cards when he was little. I still do not understand the appeal, but hey, I guess we don't have to.

Your parents are so cute!! I didn't know Pokemon cards were still a thing! Leon obviously values them so they are motivating for him - even in the middle of the night!!
