Random Rambles

So I'm spending my day working hard of course...  but in my spare time, like just before a potty break, or when I feel like it, I'm uploading all the wedding videos that I have to Youtube.  For my BIL to use if he wants when he does the wedding video for his daughter's nuptials this past weekend.

We left really early on Sunday morning in order to get back in time to have HyChi (HyVee Chinese buffet) with Ryan, so he and his boy can spend a little quality time together.  Leon needed to get down to his mom's that afternoon and Ryan had to work.  After lunch, they went and hung out while Robb, Meri and I went home to switch up cars.

Robb had noticed steel showing on the van tires and needed that fixed before Monday, so he called our car guy and got it in immediately.  Our car guy is awesome...

I got the boy before Ryan had to be at work and took him to his mom's, was feeling a little sleepy on the drive home so I called MY mom. She hadn't been able to make it this weekend.  It's not against the law to talk on a cell while driving here. yet.  And it kept me awake.  Tried calling my dad to wish him Happy Father's Day again, but he was still on his way back from the wedding and wasn't picking up.  I think he'd forgotten a charger this weekend or was driving through a dead zone or was ignoring my calls...

One of my million nephews and his wife.  Leon likes her...

Robb and Meri took in a matinee and after lounging for a while, yes I lounge...  I got a nice supper started to celebrate Father's Day here at home.  I forged Leon's signature on a card, got Ryan's, let Meri pick out her own card when she got home and after visiting with Ada and her hubs, we had a very nice dinner at home.

One of my million nieces and her husband.

I even pulled out the china!  For only three people, we needed to make it festive.

So... that was my weekend.  I got no sewing done, except for trimming around lace roses for the wedding dress on the long drive.  That really ate up some miles!

My sister Tammy.

I was going to try and get a little sewing done last night, but Meri suggested renting Pride, Prejudice and Zombies.  So we did that instead.  FUn!  Especially when we'd seen every other version of Pride & Prejudice and love them all.  It was funny to see a new twist on it!

JUST got back unlocking Meri's car.  That kid is the prime example of why the buttons on the doors were invented.

Oh and whoever invented air conditioning??... Thank you!!!!
