Since church is earlier during the summer, we got home at a very decent hour. I can't believe I complained about this at the start of the summer...
And here I had thought having one day a week to sleep in would be a good thing...
Leon had come with us and we talked about the penguin bag on the drive. He was stoked.
I worked hard on it and finished around two.
Sorry I missed taking a pic of him in it! I will when he's back.
Logistically, it should fit him... and it does... like a glove. or a sausage casing. So as a prototype, I can see changes that I need to make. ALSO, it should have an opening in the back for easy climbing in and out.
I put him into it like you'd pull on jeans that are a smidge too tight.
Now JUMP while I pull!
The next version will be bigger all around...
and in fleece.
After supper, Robb took him to his mom's and I worked on the wedding dress. I think it's either hanging wonky on the hanger or I've done something wrong around the waist... hmmm.
Got lots done on it and we're down to about 13 easy steps left.
Oh and about the penguin bag.
Leon LOVEs it. It's basically a penguin straight jacket so it's right up his alley!

The best part of early mornings is having a full day ahead of you. I'd rather rise early and maybe sneak a nap. Cute straightjacket.
I Love that. Penguins are my Favorite animal
