We have a tree out on our front patio and at Halloween, Leon and I hung bats on it from the Dollar Tree. It looked so cute... When we took them down, he asked what we could hang up for the next holiday. I said, "How about turkeys?"
So he and I made hand print turkeys. They've sat on our counter for 3 or more weeks now until I finally cut them out and laminated them last night. We don't have a laminator BUT I have an iron and parchment paper... The handy girls secret weapon!
It was raining too much last night to hang them up but I'll do it over my morning break today so he can be surprised when he comes home from school.
Has anyone used Hollar.com yet? I did and have gotten two packages so far. Pretty cool! I found lots of things for little stocking stuffers and a few things for the boy. CHEAP stuff and free shipping if you order $25 or more. Plus the orange boxes are sweet.
He and I have been coloring off and on out of the Monster Dragon coloring book that I got in the first package.
In the package that came yesterday, he saw (before I had a chance to hide it) a box where you can build your own dinosaurs. I'd been PLANNING to save it until Christmas, but oh well...
This is our first attempt at the T-Rex. He and his dad made several other types later on.
So cute! Anyway, check out Hollar.com.
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!! I'll get back to you on Monday!

The turkeys are so cute!
I have used Hollar once. Ordered a box full of shopkins stuff for my daughter's birthday. Will definitely be using them again in the future.
Hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving!
A turkey tree sounds super cute.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I used to do something similar in my classroom - I had a big branch that I set in a pail full of plaster of paris. We would decorate it for each holiday. Make your own dinosaurs? Too cool!!
