Randoming Booting Myself

What a week...  my boss has been all over the country.  Literally.  He lives on one coast and just ended up on the other for a while.  So I've been one of the main programmers this week in my virtual office.

I wish someone would bring donuts... But then my diet would be sabotaged, so nevermind.  I'm actually making some progress.  I saw a number on the scale this morning that I hadn't seen in a while!

Last year this time, I'd be scouring the kitchen or the garage fridge looking for fudge that I'd made.  I haven't made a single ounce this year, yet have all the necessary ingredients.  Could be dangerous if I wasn't so busy.

Wrapped up some things at Leon's request this morning. We went shopping a little last night and he bought something for his dad.  As soon as Ryan came downstairs, the little twerp blurted it out...

Well... at least it was a good choice and he'll like it!

I've also sold a few things on the local Facebook swap pages.  $5 here, $10 there...  I've made $35 easy.  And that's about as quick as it slipped through my fingers since..

Below is a pair of boots I bought for Leon last year just after the winter season on sale for $5.

Of course he hit a growth spurt over the summer and now they're a smidge too small.  He couldn't pull them on without my help and then his toes were all the way to the end.  So I offered them online and bam, they were gone within a day.  for $5.  I didn't make a profit, but then I wasn't out the $5 either!  AND I had to buy him another pair of boots NOT on sale. dang.

I need to be careful... I sold something that Meri had wanted to keep...  OOPS.  Don't talk to her about it. She's probably still bitter.

She had to leave this morning and didn't have time to 1) take care of the dogs 2) eat breakfast.  Her loss is my gain.  I ate it.  And I discovered that Robb had put a brat inside of her omelette!  YUM!!!  So yeah, probably my gain.  But it's not fudge and that's typically been my downfall during the holiday season.  I'll just eat some broccoli or cauliflower with dip later for a snack and it will be ok.

Maddy and Matthew come here tomorrow!!! YAY!!!  I've got so much planned.  Not for them specifically, but just lots to do this weekend.  I'll let them help me!  heh heh heh...

Well, back to the random grindstone.  Have a good Thursday!

I love those sites! I sold a lot on there when we moved from PA to Ohio! :-)
