It's always going to be a good day when you start by watching 20 minutes of Home Alone with your grandson... Isn't that the rule for a good day?
Hope so.
I attended the National Honor Society Induction last night at the high school. Meri is already in it, but we received an invite, so I went. She was surprised I did.
But I got an INVITATION!
Apparently it was to help fill the seats.
AND I forgot my camera, so these photos are from last year when she WAS inducted into NHS.
I went to Joann Fabrics on Sunday to get the skirt fabric for Maddy's wedding dress and they were out of the stuff I needed... Yikes! So I went shopping online and found that the online stock was out as well as most stores around me. I guess if I drive an hour, I could find some. But I don't typically drive in that direction.
Robb and I are planning a road trip to see Maddy at her latest locale where she's student teaching, so I checked that area. FOUND 14 yards! WOOHOO! I don't need that many, but to make sure we would get it, I reserved it. Maddy will pick it up tonight after work. WHEW! They can only hold it for 24 hours.
My headache is gone today, but my neck feels weird. I'll try and get in at the chiropractor later today if I can.
Tonight might be my sewing night if I can appease the little tailor in the kitchen with a lunchtime sewing stint. He's been asking for more time on la'masheen.
We also have a parent-teacher conference for him this evening too. Judging from some of the class pics his teacher sends out, it could be interesting... I'm sure Ryan will regale us with his progress. Leon does point things out like letters, patterns, etc. The other week he told us the horrors of not brushing teeth. So he is learning something...
Ok enough rambling. I put on a sweater because someone left a window open last night and it was freezing on the main floor. NOW I'm sweating. Off to change more than my attitude.
Have a great Tuesday!!!!

Home Alone fun and parent teacher meeting fun! Nice beginning and ending to a day!
So glad you found the fabric! It is so worth having the excess rather than being in a panic wondering if you will find more.
Well done,Meri. Our school can't be in MGS until end of Junior year.
I really dislike having to track down fabric when it's the only one that will do and no one has it! I'm so glad you found it.
