Meri got home yesterday afternoon from a 3 day music camp, took a nap and then left for band camp at the high school for the evening. I got to see her for all of 5 minutes while she ate supper on my bed while she watched Gossip Girls... She paused it for that long. yay.
I hope she gets caught up on sleep soon. and her binge watching...
Lately, Leon is hooked on Harry Potter. He has been agonizing on what costume to wear for Halloween and I guess I'll be sewing both a Harry Potter costume AND a variety of dinosaur costumes that he's picked out. I'll be busy...
Anyone made a pterodactyl costume before? Velociraptor? No? Wish me luck.

In the meanwhile, we're getting ready for school over here. It doesn't start for two more weeks, but appointments need to be made/kept, clothes need to be purchased, supplies sought out.
I'll be lucky to get the dishes done today.

Today was opening day for teachers! Woot! Students come tomorrow. Time to get back at it!
Ah...school preparations - how I miss you....NOT!!! Not entirely true - I love buying new pens and pencils and note paper and binders and glue sticks, and rulers and and and all of it! Now I'm jealous!
