So... all 3 of my kids will have their own living spaces outside of my home, come August.
However... ONE of them will own a house in May. Which one?
Let me give you a hint. It's in Wisconsin!
Yes! We got to DUO with Maddy and Matthew this weekend and they've purchased a house! Total surprise to us, as we thought they were going to wait another year, but they're anxious to be in their OWN place and the stairs at their current apartment just kills if you're carrying something up.
Check out the built in hutch and french doors! Beautiful!
We're so excited for them!!! And just think... With a three bedroom home, there is some room to spread out... and there are at least 5 tubs of her things in my garage...
I've also got a non-motorized push mower (needs sharpening, but hey) that they're looking forward to inheriting. And as I think about things, I know of some other furniture they might want. Between 3 different dwellings of my children, my garage and house could get severely uncluttered!
When Meri moves, she'll be taking her bed set, dresser, 3 or more tubs of clothes, a table and chairs found on Craigslist for free, a couch, also found on Craigslist for free, a dog kennel, a dog, some of my older pans, a tub of kitchen supplies currently in my dining room, a kitchen island (in my garage), a piano (in my garage), and a plethora of other things.
Meri has been dreaming about the floor plans of the condo that she's moving to with 5 of her friends.
Ryan found this online...
Not quite what she had in mind, but she shared it with her friends.
Speaking of uncluttering, I'm wondering if Maddy and Matthew want a dog... hmmm...
Happy Housewarming!!!!

Very exciting turn of life for your kids. They sure will be young home owners, but the way rent is skyrocketing, f they know this is where they want to put roots down, it is probably quite wise.
That is so exciting!! The new place looks really nice :) Meri's skull room would certainly be a conversation starter!
Congratulations to the new home buyers. The first house is always the most special!
Congrats to them! Decluttering a dog unto them would be a nice touch. hahaha!
So I am guessing they like WI? Any word on them filling up those bedrooms yet? hehehe
So where is Meri going....school but not on campus?
Would you like a spare kid or two(I can hook you up!)since I KNOW you'll have severe empty nester syndrome.
Goodness! Lots happening around your place. I so wish Rebekah would add on to her house soon (next year) and Jacob would build his house soon (hopefully very soon) so I can declutter my house!
