Sew that's how we roll

In the past 4 days, I've made 3 pairs of leggings and one new hoody.  However I'm not pleased with the hoody so I may revamp it a bit.  The fabric just hangs...

and feels heavy.  it might feel better if the weather were 40 degrees cooler, but not when it's 90 in the shade.

And Meri said, "I told you I didn't want leggings out of that fabric."

Yeah yeah, I knew that but hoped you'd change your mind when you tried them on.  Nope.  Oh well, I needed another entry for the fair anyway.

If nothing else, I've got the hem length perfect now! I'd made her leggings before and she didn't say a word, until this weekend, that they're too long and she has to bunch them up around the ankles.

As a tall girl myself...  I'd would have killed for pants that were TOO long or really any pants that didn't make me feel like I was expecting a flood, when I was a teen.

The kids these days...

Off to dream up something ELSE to sew!

The leggings are really cute, but seeing all the young girls around here, it seems only black, navy, or white leggings are worn. One thing nice about being older is the total disregard I have to any "uniform" dressing needs. This is coming form someone who keeps clothes forever and is tragically unhip when it comes to fashion.

I admire anyone that can expand their wardrobe with their own skills. Me-never had patience or skills.
