Tomorrow is the day! EEEKK!!!
I've got my carry on and so far it has just a few items that were already washed up and ready. I've made several tops to bring along and they're dry by now. You can tell which ones need to get a little pressing... They should roll up good and tiny to fit in my bag. I'll save the ironing for the hotel.
That black one is fantastic and I need to find more fabric like that! Yummy stuff!
You can also tell that I only have three favorite patterns. They're used CONSTANTLY.
I can probably throw all my other patterns away!
Nope.
We were going to explore possible apartments but next to no one would return my calls or if they did, they didn't have any vacancies. So we'll play it by ear.
I AM going to visit some shops in the fabric district and have them ship me home some goodies... No room in my carry on for extras. At all... I think Meri will be packing some of her things in my carry on as well. We'll find out tonight.
She and I just talked through FB messenger video chat and discussed plans a little. My niece, who is a model, is in LA for several weeks and is there now. Yay! We're planning some time together as soon as she finds out her schedule for the next few days. Isn't she pretty?
Saturday is the AGT audition day. If Meri gets on the show, I'm expecting each and every one of you to figure out how to vote for your favorite act, if that's how they do it these days... and vote for my Meri. We don't find out until the end of March, whether or not she gets in.
Wouldn't a beach visit be nice??? hmmm ...
or a walk down Hollywood boulevard?
70 degree weather vs 15 degrees. Yeah, I'll be the square in shorts...

Good luck to her! My nieces husband auditioned for The Voice. He made it one round before television.
