Super, Wonderful, Crazy, Fun Time

Meri got her foot x-rayed yesterday and got switched to a bigger boot.  Darn.  It's not healing as fast as the doctor would like.  So she has to wear the boot for probably an extra 2 weeks.

Since Robb had a friend in town, I met up with Meri for supper and visited before we went to Bible study.  She told me about a co-worker who is muttering about Meri under her breath but Meri can hear what she says.  The co-worker is jealous of her because Meri gets assigned jobs where she can sit down.  Ummm her foot is broken...  But regardless, she's jealous of Meri.

So when we got up to leave, speak of the ...  

THAT woman and her husband came into the restaurant!  After Meri gasped and grabbed my arm,  we walked toward the door and Meri was polite to her and said, "Hello xxxxxx!"  The woman said to her husband, "Hey, here the hurt girl from work."  

(Meri is famous apparently... :)   I never doubted it for a second.)

So... not a PROPER introduction!...  But we'll take it.  Meri took that to mean that she wouldn't introduce me either.  Doesn't matter.

Thankfully Meri's job is amongst 200 others so it's not like she has to work with this woman all the time.  Because what a pain THAT would be?!

I think it was Red from That 70s Show that said,

"Work is Work.  If it wasn't work, they wouldn't call it work, they'd call it super, wonderful, crazy, fun time!"

Actually that is exactly what he said, because I just found the meme and video to back it up.

Speaking of crazy, fun time, I better get back to mine...
