My old friend, that Robb and I loved to prank all the time because she and her then husband were so gullible, called me yesterday afternoon and asked if I'd like to go get an early supper with her.
SHURRE!
I can't all the time, but if I'm available, then you bet. I drove the Sweetness over!
We had a good time and laughed a LOT! Good thing she's friends with the owner of that restaurant because if it was anywhere else, they'd not let us back in. We had waters, but I'm betting everyone else there thought we'd snuck in margaritas...
And I cleaned my plate and the chips and salsa.
I gained back the weight that I should have lost on my diet so far. I'm drinking more water these days so it should come off quickly.
I hope.
The Taurus is fixed!! I purchased a new wheel well liner online because I had to cut the old one off with an exacto knife after the highway incident a couple weeks ago. The car has been benched for a week after my BIL told me that a rock, flung awkwardly while driving, could sever something that the wheel well liner is protecting, causing a world of other issues. aaggghhhh.g.... But I ordered a new liner and had my car guy put it in. He bent the brake line back into place, whoops! Nervous laughter over here... THAT could have been a problem...
He also noticed the bulbs for the turn signal sitting in my trunk, waiting for me to find the right tools to install them, and he fixed that too. Also an oil change and BAM!!! With a few more bucks, it's back on the road.
Oh and he removed the black duct tape (no charge) and put the fender back on the way that it was supposed to be.
BWAHAHA!!! Maniacal laughter, having fixed things with duct tape.
AND then the last type of laughter that I'll mention today. The gloating kind. HA!
I think I won our families NCAA bracket pot!!! Unfortunately no one put any money IN the said pot yet, but I think I'm owed about $8...

HA! and double HA!
