Yes, my youngest finally got to her two year mark, where she could say the dreaded "puppy" word again. I think two years ago, we thought that maybe she'd forget... but she'd been marking the calendar and keeping track. She got a Golden Retriever boy puppy two years ago and it's been hell ever since. Read my blog on Duke, if you don't believe me... She wanted a girl dog too so she can have more puppies. Mainly to sell. But she loves puppies. So she's been saving her money and dreaming about puppies...
So on our trip back from Kansas City this weekend, the girls and I stopped in a little town 1.5 hours from here and picked up another AKC Golden Retriever puppy. Meri held her the WHOLE way home and relented to let Maddy hold her only when she ran into the store with me to buy a kennel and birthday gift for a friend.
We brought the other two dogs home this morning from the local kennel and they've all bonded. Mostly Ellie and her future husband, Duke... Sorsha is just annoyed....Her name is Ellie May and she is such a sweet puppy. She's only pooped and peed on my floors 4 times since this morning!
I feel so blessed.
