Pencil bag and fanny pack DONE!

Whew! Just in time too! School starts tomorrow! I finished these on Sunday afternoon and the girls were happy.
I made use of these suede slacks.

Pencil bag for Maddy.
Fanny pack for Meri.
Meri salvaged the buckle from an old belt and ripped a hole in the flap before I knew she had done it. I think a few well placed stitches will hold that into place.
I think they're all ready for school now except for a ton of sewing yet on my plate. Don't know when I'll get time, but probably during my lunch breaks when they're gone.

BTW: Pray for my dad today. He's going in for knee replacement surgery in about 45 minutes today.

Those are just awesome. I have fantasies of sewing. But I'm quite certain they will stay just that, fantasies. Even my knitting (and I can only knit in rectangles, mind you) has fallen by the wayside. Darned life with all it's demands (blogging is a life demand, right? lol)

Awesome to have you as a new buddy!
