Sew Random...

Random blog today...

The sewing room is shaping up. Still can't sew in it, but most of Meri's things are moved out and my sewing tubs of fabric stash are moved in. Moved Maddy's clothes into the sewing room closet and dresser.

Felt kind of yucky and fainty over the weekend. Touch of flu maybe? If it was, it wasn't the pig variety... Also I've been exposed to it, so who knows when that will hit...

A major rush yesterday after church potluck to get kids where they needed to go. Birthday parties, playing piano at the nursing home and a 4H awards ceremony where Ryan toyed with the idea of getting on the stage with 9 year olds to accept Meri's Cloverkid graduation award on her behalf. He'd be only 3 feet taller than everyone else up there..

Had a great family visit with my best friend and her hubby yesterday. Robb made them Bacon Explosion on his smoker yesterday. They love that stuff! And I'm having lunch with her today, so I kind of hope she serves it! *update - got a sample. YUM!

Made my 9 yo get out of the car at the bus stop this morning even tho she was sobbing. Every time I got her spirits high and eyes dry, she'd burst into tears again when I mentioned that she get out. She's a hypochondriac and complained of stomach ache and tiredness. Every other minute, whenever I mentioned getting ready for school was when the symptoms hit. Curious... She still ate a bagel for breakfast and was just fine during that and no temp.

At work today, I'm changing all my clients system clocks by one hour because the computers think that yesterday was the time change and they all changed. YUCK!

Dublin coddle for supper! The leaves on the trees are gorgeous... what's left of them anyway... Going to have the girls rake after school today. And then a funeral viewing...

Haven't heard from the school nurse yet, so I think things are AOK...

My daughter used to be the same way. Every morning! Ugh. Thank goodness that stage has passed. Of course, now she can't wait to get away from us.
