Model M

Don't forget about my cookie giveaway! Enter now!

I've been making my circle cowl "snood" scarf. Not so much this week, but last. I've got a couple listed on Etsy and plan to list a few more before too long. Check them out if you get the chance.

Meri was my model as Maddy will not... This one is in deep green and yellow, like Green Bay Packers or in the school colors of my twin nieces school... But they don't read this blog and I won't tell them about it until after Christmas.
This one is in a pink/black plaid on one side and black on the other. All of these are totally reversible.
This is the first one I did and it's definitely Meri's. It hasn't been cold enough around here to wear them yet, but she's got it next to the door just in case we suddenly get a blizzard.
I thought this one turned out so cute! It's got music notes on a black background and then plain black on the other side. This is twisted cowl scarf.
I was inspired by the snood on the guy in my post from last week. I had this puppy paw print fabric and whipped this one up. What do you think? I'll get to the Colin Farrell one eventually...
Anyway, this is what I've been doing in my spare time, when not making cookies or reading a book. The Year of Fog by Michelle Richmond is what I'm in the middle of right now. We had a scare last week where Meri wasn't where she was supposed to be by darkfall and after 45 panicky minutes we finally found her. So my friend gave me this book, (totally not related to the incident) and wouldn't you know it??? It's about a little girl who goes missing...

Now I'm engrossed in it.. Hopefully once I finish it, I can get back to sewing Christmas presents and scarflettes.

Have a great Wednesday!

Don't you just love a good book? And don't you just hate how you can't put it down to do anything else until you finish it?

At least you've been sewing and baking. Ahem...not me.

Love the cowls, snoods, etc.

So, now she's modeling scarves to get back in your good graces? HAHA! I love them! They look all warm and snugly! Kids need to come with a GPS, no?
