We got our first snow last night! It probably needs to be shoveled away, but I'm busy today.. and it was less than an inch.... The cars can get out.
It started snowing last night when Maddy and I were wrapping a few presents. Meri ran in so excited and insisted that Maddy come outside with her. They did and had a blast! They were out there for 1/2 an hour before I thought to grab the camera and catch them enjoying each others company.
P.S. I still want a new camera for Christmas so I can see the picture as it's being taken!!!!
They made snow angels and had an all out snow dust fight. It wasn't packing very good last night. Still kind of powdery... If you look above the snow angels, they wrote something. At first in the dark, I thought it was something derogatory about sisters... but then they pointed out that it says "Sisters" + a heart.I'm so glad they had so much fun. These are the memories that they'll keep with them when they're 40, 50 or 70.
Hopefully not so much the ones where they're fighting over the front seat.

Yep, looks like fun all right! There's something special about the first snowfall. Sounds like we might get a LOT more to join what's on the ground right now. As long as the roads are ok for Amanda to get home on Saturday...it can do whatever it wants.

ps...love that you captured the snow flakes in the air!
Thanks. I needed a splash of snow thrown at me. I miss it but I don't....Happy Holidays:)
We would love a little snow. It's probably not going to happen...
Glad y'all got to get out and enjoy it.
ahhh...the first snow fall is always the best! Great new week...& stay warm*

I hate when snow doesn't pack well, cuz then I can't hurt people with my snowballs! LOL.
We had our first, and probably last snow of the season Friday. It's rare in south Texas, but the kids had a blast. Glad you all enjoyed it too!
Looks like they had fun!!! I love the first snow! We only get the first snow every few years and last year was that year!! I am trying your cappuccino as soon as I can get to the store (rainy day today and I'm not driving anywhere!)
Here from SITS have a great day!!
They are cute! I wish that I could feel excited about cold weather and snow. I usually get mean about it. I'm a Grinch! Nothing wrong with the color green!
My kids would be excited if we had a snow like this. We always get a small dusting.
I received the possum you sent today! Thanks so much! It cracked me up when I saw it. That possum made my day. : )
How fun!!
What a blast! :-)
If you are lucky enough to have a digital camera with a viewfinder I would hold on to it. I have one that has only the instant display screen and I find I miss the viewfinder.
