And brought me THIS from Frances at Lookingfordeals! It is SOO cool! The leather picture frame holds a bunch of photos that you can hang certain ways to display whichever you want. And a coupon for a free can of any Pillsbury sweet rolls, Grands Sweet Rolls, mini-bites or Flaky Twists! Yummo!
Oh hey! Remember my cell phone situation? My husband gave me the idea to find a replacement on Ebay. I did! It came in the mail a few days ago and on Tuesday afternoon when I was out and about with Meri, we stopped by my cell phone gurus office and they switched it over! The guy helping me had never seen such old technology and had some trouble getting the switch made. He WAS just a young pup... And was amazed that I wasn't interested in any of the newer technology available. You see... I'm an old dog and don't like to learn new tricks...I got to keep my contacts that I'd plugged into the spare phone. My old cell ring tho, they weren't able to save. I've had the beginning of Kylie Minogues song, I Should Be So Lucky on my cell phone for years! I made my own ring tone with some software I once had and a cable that has long since been eaten by a pet.
So to get my cell phone life put back into place, I made my own ring tone again. Found a free website that lets you upload any song and pull a chunk out for your ring tone. Then emailed it to my phone. Did you know you can do that? It's whatever your phone # is @ your cell phone providers name.net or .com. Here's a website that tells you how to email anything to your cell phone for any cell phone provider. COOL! My phone now has the ring tone I want and I'm back in business!
When the phone came in the mail, Meri played with it a bit before I even had a chance to look at it. But when I did... GASP!!! The previous owner was a perv! This person had received a couple pictures of some naked Santa and some dirty minded girl in a hot tub. AND forwarded them on apparently. Meri said she didn't see anything... whew! She was mostly interested in the ring tones. Hubby and son were a bit upset I didn't share this tidbit of info with them... I deleted all inbound and outbound texts as quick as I could, trying not to look... then sprayed it down with Lysol.
It's MINE now! and if this phone used to be yours, well... ***raspberry***

A naked Santa . . . I never understood that particular interest that some people have.
I'm glad you got your new perfect phone! And thanks for that website. That sounds awesome!
I'm glad you got your phone back the way you want it! Once you like a certain one it's hard to change. I'm going to go check that site out now. Thanks!
Glad you got your prize pack from Pillsbury!! Enjoy!
Yeah on getting the phone you want. Boo for naked Santa!
Gee, you didn't know you were getting SonyaAnn's old cell phone, did ya? **evil cackling**
Congrats on being an old dog and getting your old dog phone part 2 in place....;-)
Oooohhh we need our phones! Ours got hacked a couple weekends ago...luckily we caught them before it was too late!
My phone is SO OLD! One of my friends wants me to get a Blackberry. What for? I don't text, don't take pictures with my phone (I DO have a DSLR camera!), why get a Blackberry?
Thanks for the website info! That's COOL! I didn't know that!
And, as for the pictures - YIKES!
I'd be slathering that baby in bleach - eeeegads!!
Makes me wonder why anyone would have sold that without removing those pictures first. That or they are laughing silly thinking about what might be your reaction to them.....
Congrats on the win from Frances. She is nice and wonderful.
I laughed at the young pup!
And if you would like give me your phone # and I will forward some of the very nasty things that I get from my hubs and our friends. I just don't understand why everyone is trying to corrupt me?
It seems like just as I get used to my phone, a new one comes out. We got iPhones maybe 2 years ago and my husband has already upgraded his. I'm staying put with my iPhone...I don't handle change well, especially when it comes to technological gadgets.
So cool about the ring tone...thanks for sharing that!
