YES! Underwear! Some of the standard gifts I give my kids is new undies and socks for Christmas. It's not the ONLY thing we give them! But look how happy it makes them! 
It's not like they only get an orange in their Christmas stocking or anything like that... Or a lump of coal even if they deserve it...When I was a kid, my sister got underwear and I remember a picture of her showing them off after unwrapping them and stretching them for the camera. So I tell my kids to pose with them. We're corny that way...
They got some fun stuff too... Gift cards to a shoe store, ear buds. Meri got a camera that she'd been asking for, Ryan got a Fallout 3 lunch box with bobble head and Maddy got cash to shop with. As well as a few other things. There was some confusion when Meri accidentally got to open an SD card from her aunt the day BEFORE she got the camera... Yeah... Meri was happily suspicious. Awesome knitted slippers for us girls from Kshotz!! I've got to get a pic of those... and the mugs the guys got... Thank you Kim! They all fit great and we love them! *thank you card will be sent soon*Well, the girls are off to go swimming with some friends and the house is quiet again. The trees are frosted over nicely and my frosted cupcake scented candle is filling the room, making me hungry actually...

Well I guess we are corny here too because sox and underwear are a Christmas tradition as well. lol
It was when I was growing up and I just carried it on when I started a family.
Sorry, I don't give the underwear and socks for Christmas. Instead, I buy them in the spring and fall or whenever they need them. Guess it's because I never liked getting them as a gift growning up.....
We don't do undies but we always do socks, and as soon as one person finds the lumpy package in their stocking, they call out for everyone to find their socks so we can all open them together!
Sounds like it's a good tradition to have. :)

I wish I had gotten some new undies. But Hubby did get me a couple of nightshirts and a chenille robe, so I guess it is okay that he didn't go to the panty store. LOL!
Okay, my boys usually get underwear, but this year they didn't need any...so they got socks. Which they found HILARIOUS. SOCKS in my STOCKING. HAHAHAHAHA. They loved it.
And they got a bag of coal too. It's bubblegum. LOL

My mom gave me underwear for Christmas too and I loved it! I mean really, I need underwear right? Well, most of the time...LOL
