Quiet Weekend!
Knowing my luck, it won't be. My idea of a quiet weekend is when nothing major is planned and I've got tons of time on Saturday & Sunday to spend in my sewing room.
Maddy is on the bells, her boyfriend is on the drums and one of her best buds on the bass... It's kind of gang.
Oh they're good... They really are. AND they did this with a trombone player who had just sliced off the tips of two of his fingers last weekend!
But the rest of the day is mine. Oh! and tonight. I plan to get lots of sewing done and get my sewing room put back in order. Things kind of got out of hand the last few weeks in there...
Then on Sunday after church, Meri and I are going to attend a new sewing group just starting up that does fabric manipulation. You don't know what that is? It's stenciling and painting fabric as well as other techniques to change the appearance of any kind of fabric. We're going to take grungy clothes with us and get messy! My kind of afternoon!
I'm going to take some new white tea-towels and decorate them. Maybe get some ideas for Christmas presents next year!
Maddy has another Jazz competition tomorrow morning that I get to attend! Missed the one yesterday where she had a solo. She got a certificate of excellence on her performance and their jazz ensemble got #1!

I love weekends when there is nothing to do. I'm not a winter person but I do like the fact that there is no outdoor work.

I am planning on a quiet weekend, too. I will of course have to go to the grocery store, but that is all I plan to do.
Well, maybe I will reorganize my stockpile. I still haven't gotten to the HBA stock like I planned.
