Romance is not dead...

Saturday was our wedding anniversary! It has been 23 years since we became man and wife at 6:20pm. And I know this because my sister-in-law, a bridesmaid, had a watch down in her cleavage and glanced at the exact moment.

Oh and from a sewing aspect, I made my wedding dress and 3 of the bridesmaids dresses.

Well, we had Saturday afternoon and evening free, so just Robb and I went to a late matinee and then out to eat at a new Mexican restaurant that just opened near by. And might I say, YUM! Very authentic, very good...

Several years ago, when our anniversary didn't also coincide with Mother's Day, we went on a movie/dinner date and saw the movie No Escape.

It was very action packed! I think it was the best option out of a bunch of bad ones, so we picked it.

This year we picked Battle Los Angelos. It's getting better! They may have worn boots and carried weapons, but there were women in it... Oh and were they tough?!

But you know what? Any time spent alone with my honey is good! And at least it wasn't a Disney movie or cartoon...

My son Aaron saw Battle Los Angeles and he really liked it! :)

Happy Anniversary! Your Bridesmaid was very creative in finding a place for a watch, I must say! ;)

And, I agree...any date with a dinner and a movie is usually a good one!

Happy, happy anniversary!!! Glad you spent time with your honey. When you have kids at home, it is hard to have "grown up time", but it is necessary.

Congratulations on your 23rd Wedding Anniversary. My husband and I had our 28th Wedding Anniversary Saturday also. We went ball room dancing. We had a wonderful time. We saw his cousin there that we had not seen in a long time. It felt like years ago. We had a great time.
Marriage takes lots of work as you well know. Congratulations again.

Laughing to myself because there is no way I would have sat through that movie, no way, not even for love.

Happy Anniversary. You were a gorgeous bride. Love your dress. I am so impressed that you made it along with the bridesmaid's dresses. Is there anything you can't do?
