Thinking Outside The Box

Today is College Day at the middle school. All the little kids with the pumped up kicks will be wearing all the college sweatshirts and college names written across their butts. You know what MY girl is wearing??? *She called me on my cell phone to ask me how to spell college...*

Yep, she thinks outside the box or as my disagreeing husband says, "IS THE BOX". I gave her 30 minutes to make it this morning and this is what she came up with. What do you think?

Yeah. She won't fit in a desk... Actually she's wearing a college sweatshirt underneath and this is just an inside joke for her teacher. Meri had made a comment yesterday that prompted her teacher to ask her, "So, you're coming tomorrow AS the college or something?" It got her thinking... So after the big laughs this morning, she'll wear it into the classroom and then to lunch. All the rest of the day she'll have it sitting in a corner of the room... It definitely won't fit in her locker.
I think if she does go into fashion design, she'll definitely be thinking outside the box and have the most unique clothes, don't you?
