Yesterday was the last day of school! WOOHOO!!!
No more classrooms, no more books! No more teachers, dirty looks! *I must be getting old... Do teachers give dirty looks?*
I do love me some Alice Cooper! But just in very small doses and only if he's surrounded by Muppets.
So the girls had a sleepover in Mads room last night. I remember doing that with my sisters. They must have had a great time because the wake up call they ordered for 7 o'clock almost went to voicemail before a very groggy girl answered. I still haven't seen them yet.
Got a LOT of housework done this morning with just me buzzing around. Whichever room needed something delivered to it got something taken out of it that didn't belong. Too bad none of them got a vacuum delivered... Or a broom...
Oh well. That's what Saturday's are for! And can you believe I have NOTHING outside of the house to go to on Saturday??!

So mentally, (yeah - I said I'm mental) I've got a little list of things that I want to do on Saturday. If 2 of them get done, I'll probably be satisfied for a little while, but then begging for the next weekend free.
The girls, hopefully, will come out to my office soon and we'll talk about summer plans for a minute or so. I've got little lists for them too...
But they don't have to wait for Saturday!

One of my favorite summer pleasures was taking part in the public library's reading contest, shlepping home 25 books (the max) at each visit to the library.

Last Friday was our last day of school. Seems weird to be out this early but hey that's what happens when there are no snow days!
