Conversations with a baby

 Meri and Leon have a little conversation.  Mostly about how much he burps up and how much fun they're going to have together this summer.  He's cooing and responding with his own baby talk to her.  It was adorable!

 And then the puppies...  Their eyes are open, except for when I've got the flash on...  They're walking around like drunken sailor puppies trying to get their garage legs.   

This is Aloe.  She's having a wee bit of a dream as her legs twitch while she sleeps.  

I only know she's Aloe because she's the smallest and has to fight to get a spot to eat.

At their birth, the kids started getting bored trying to come up with names for each one so they started looking around the garage for ideas.  They had started with mythological names, like Aphrodite and Juno.  As luck would have it, there was a Aloe Pro box nearby.  I have no idea where we got that one...  But it could have been Xerox.

I don't remember all their names, but Meri does and can tell them all apart.

So there are our babies for the week.  They're 3 months going on 15 years old and 2.5 weeks going on 8 weeks.  Time flies!

I'm frantically wondering how I'm going to get the newsletter done by Monday.  I need CONTENT people!!!  And about 36 extra hours in the day.  The newsletter probably shouldn't be an issue of pure fluff...  Not that I've ever DONE that!!  *avoid eye contact*

Graduation parties most of the weekend and an ASG sewing meeting.  It'll be hopping, but at least I won't have to do much cooking...  Party food is awesome and it's inspiring to see how each student tries to outdo the other in what they serve.  It's definitely giving me ideas for next year when it's my turn to throw one.  On what to do and what not to do.
