Sew Not My Day Revisited...

You know those mornings?

When the ceiling fan in the living room sounds like a whiny dog that didn't get a chance to go outside last night?  And it wakes you up at 3am?  Not cool.

When you find your grandson actually sleeping in his crib, WITHOUT the bouncy seat?  Cool.

When you finally get to sleep again but the stupid alarm clock wakes you up about 15 minutes later?  Not cool.

When the water by the side of the bed tastes fresh and not dusty?  Cool

When you realize that the puppies never got their puppy food slop last night?  Not cool.

When due to the above situation, the puppies snarf up dry puppy food?  Cool!

When you get paged to work before you even get out of bed?  Not cool.

Twice?  double not cool.

I guess it's going to be one of those days...

BUT looking on the bright side!  I got a smidgen of the black skirt sewn last night.  Needs a zipper, waist, hem and a kick pleat (which I may not put in... this fabric isn't really made for it...) (So, she just has to take shorter steps...) (no big)

AND my girls are sewing!!!

Maddy made two little purses to go on adventures with with her two young summer charges.  And if the two girls get along during the day, she's been sewing gems (buttons) on them each night as a reward.  She's documenting everything for a 4H project.

Meri got on the sewing kick too and inspired by my square (scarf) top, made herself one!  AND she cut off a pair of jeans and added some large plaid cuffs onto them!  They're really cute.  Sorry - no pics yet.

Anyway...  On with the day!  You have a good one!

4H is such a wonderful program to be a part of! Unfortuneately there are none in our area. :-( Children benefit so much from a variety of opportunities! You're a great mom.
Have an awesome day!!

Blessings,
Jill
