The 4th was a day I never anticipated either and the affects of it will last a long long time.
That evening, some of us went to Bible study and then some of us went to more fireworks in the next town because Tiffany wanted Leons first 4th of July to be really special. Not that he'll remember it... But they will.for him and tell him all about it.
Maddy and Meri enjoyed a glow in the dark carousel ride with some friends and brought home some broken glow sticks that they left in a jar by the sink... Don't know what I can do with that except throw it away... but I'll leave it for them.
I got to give Leon his final bottle of the day and put him to bed.

It was too hot to watch the fireworks this year. Seriously, I hate to be outside and sweat so badly, that my boobs have their own little creek under them...
Needless to say our fourth was a quite one spent inside because we'll be doing our big celebration this Saturday. Yes, we always celebrate the first Saturday after the fourth that way, no one has to compete with the local firework displays.

Ours was very uneventful - snuck outside a few times, but it was too hot to get anything accomplished. We grilled out and ate inside. Mr OP was in bed by 8:30 - he had to get up early for work this am, so I got a little crafty.

Looks like fun. We had fun. It was a last minute plan since we all anticipated Ava would make her arrival...she didn't. This weekend maybe? Who know? Not me.
Thank you so much for sharing your 4th display. We got nada this year. Everything was canceled because of how dry it is here. We are a fire hazard. Who knew?
