Using the Random Number Generator.... 6
Ok - I have to come up with 6 random things...
1) The State Fair is over with as far as I'm concerned... We went, we ate, we rode, we walked, we burned, we shoved. It was a trip. I'll tell you more about it on a later date.
2) Mysterious water wettage on the furnace room floor... It is water. I smelled it, did not taste. But none of the cement around the linoleum is wet, so it's not coming from the walls... I'm tending to think someone spilled a water bottle or something... No one is fessing up yet.
3) School starts this week! Robb took the girls to buy their last minute school supplies and got quite a sticker shock... I'll probably take them next year and make them reuse some supplies from last year. No one really NEEDS a glitter scissors...
4) We have a drawer in a dresser full of leftover pencils, pens, markers, erasers, etc from school years past. They get dropped into that drawer every May never to be seen again, unless I have to take a phone message and the phone pen is missing...
5) I got to sew a little bit yesterday!!! I fixed the hem on some shorts and then cut out a new top for Meri. Let's just say, having a cat these days really interferes with sewing...
Curiosity is dangerous...
Stupid cat.

6) Both Meri and I got lots of ribbons at the State Fair this year for our sewing!!! Pictures and more details later this week.

We had planned to go to the Missouri State Fair this past weekend, but during the heatwave we decided it would just be too hot and opted to camp instead (where we could at least get in out of the heat).
As it turned out, the weekend would have been beautiful for the fair. We missed out, although we don't regret camping.
There's always next year.

We celebrated my FILs 84th birthday this weekend. Son#1 began school Thursday, and he had homework, so we worked on that too.

It''s always an adventure at your house! For once though, I bet I'm as busy as you. Anna's room looks like a storage unit that was abandoned and we are trying to pick through it. She isn't sleeping in there anymore.
I did laundry, cleaned house, went to the movies, went to a Bluegrass Festival, and didn't sleep quite enough! lol Congrats on those ribbons!

congrats on the ribbons!! yea for you!! we have DRAWERS full of those half used pencils and erasers..etc..they work fine when I stop buying new ones!
Love it that you got ribbons!!! My week end was spent getting my house in order so that I could go back to work today :o(
