I burned my omelette this morning... I was busy making breakfast cereal for Leon and putting another stinky book bag in the wash... and picking up some dirty dishes someone left in the living room...
It was still pretty good...
Today is going to be grand...
One of the cats is sleeping on the dirty laundry basket but before it settled down for a snooze was able to separate the undies from the rest... good cat.
Meri was almost late to school this morning. First early morning with Mock trial, so she's anxious! She is SO going to have fun with that. Her older sister really had a good time doing that in middle school.
I decided to take down the ironing board in the dining room because COME ON!?! When will "I" get time to sew again any time soon?!
It was just standing there mocking me.
Leon is crawling now! We've been bringing him to Bible study with us on Wednesday nights and he mostly just plays with his toys on a blanket on the floor. Last night he was doing some serious crawling... I have NO idea what we were talking about in class... Something about revolutions... NO WAIT! Revelations!!!
My grandson can be a distraction...
It looks like we will NOT be hosting our family reunion this year at Thanksgiving. A wedding reception takes precedent. However we may be helping my sister host earlier in the day so we can all go to the reception for cake later. Plans are not yet set in stone. I need to email my aunt.
Did you know that the best uniform for catching bats in the house is underwear, a cowboy hat, boots and a tennis racket? No, nothing recent... just a memory we picked on my dad about this past weekend...
The check out kid at Sam's Club will be an excellent salesman some day... But NOT today!!! Or rather yesterday... I have no idea if he'll have a taker today, but it won't be me.
I've got my DDP and as soon as I can turn on my office light, I'll be in business!!!
Have a fantabulously random day!
Love Val.

I've never known that a cat got undies like that! LOL I thought it was just dogs.
Sounds like a lot going on! I wish my cat would sort clothes too... he just follows me everywhere and watches me to do everything, lol.
Have a great week! Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting, I so appreciate it as I have been behind in visiting everyone. :-)
Blessings,
Jill
crawling? wow.
Boy he's a mover! My grand daughter just started crawling a few weeks ago and she still does this funny one leg up crawl so that her knee doesn't have to touch the floor. Weird I know.
Now I KNOW you are all broken up over not having to host Turkey Day this year. Yes, I heard your sigh of relief and saw you doing cartwheels down the street...lol
Deep down I knew there was a reason I need another cat in the house. I need all the help sorting laundry that I can get.
