The ASG sewing group style show is coming up. I was going to wear my dress that I made for the wedding last month, but I look like a fat middle aged woman in it. I need a dress that lies.
Photo from 2009. That's Meri in the middle sampling a cookie.
My best friends husband was really sick last weekend and may not be able to get their Christmas tree set up before Saturday. He's a scrooge but I think he quietly loves all the hub-bub. The ladies group from my church bombards their house every year to decorate and make cookies. This is the weekend for it! I can't wait! So when the girls and I are out there this evening, we may help put it up. But he could surprise us and have it all done before we get there. You never know... Anyone have some good Christmas cookie recipes we can try out this weekend?
Last weekend at our Thanksgiving family reunion, we drove the girls around my old college campus just for fun. Coming out of the stadium parking lot, the car got high centered on the road. It's curved really weird and we heard a loud metallic scrape. ***EEEEEEWWW!!!*** Ever since then, whenever we go over a ridge on a driveway, we hear a little bit of the scraping. So I got down on the cement and took a gander at underneath. There is a metal sheet dangling down on both sides of the center shaft. I guess it belongs there... I'm not a mechanic. Robb is taking it to his brother's tonight because he has a ramp thing. Hopefully they can pound it back into place.
Well, back to work! Got about 5 interfaces to work on today so wish me luck!

I'll clap my hands if you give ME a cookie! :)
Good luck interfacing!
And I'm with Mimi-I would like a cookie too.
You lost me on the last sentence. But thankfully I could follow along on the rest:)
Yeah for Leon!!! I remember singing a song to teach the boys to clap.
Clap hand. Clap hands. Till Daddy gets home.
Daddy's got money but Mummy's got none.
Not sure where that come from.
Enjoy your weekend!

clapping hands is fun!!! My last child loved listening to music from a very early age..he would be still when I would play music. He still loves music!
We have so many unusual noises coming from our cars, I have to keep the radio on loud.
happy weekend! Have fun decorating and making cookies!
Hubby is like Annmarie. I will say, "What is that noise?" in the car. And he says, "I'll fix it." and reaches for the radio. LOL!
Now I want cookies.
hahaha, 'I guess it should be there' cracked me up for some reason!
