Frandom Fridy Tidy

It is -9 degrees out today...  That's Fahrenheit kids!!!  Not that it would be any better in Celsius...  It's not good when, even after you've let your car warm up for 15 minutes, the drivers seat still feels like it was made of cement.

I plan to cut out a pair of pants this weekend!  My sewing group's presentation last month was pants fitting and in this next months meeting, we need to bring a sample pair that we've partially made to fit with. 

So...  I've got some ghastly fabric around here somewhere that I can use for a muslin...  I want to look like a golfer for the meeting.  Or some deranged person with frog pants!


It's February 1st.  When my son was still home, for some strange reason that I'll never understand, the first things out of his mouth on the first day of the month was supposed to be "Rabbit! Rabbit!"  ????  I think my first words today were, "WHAT time did the girls need to be woken up?  Yikes!!!  I'm past it!!!"  By only 4 minutes, but still... when you have to be to school at 6:45, you HAVE to be to school by 6:45!

Leon is adorable.  If we keep telling him that, he'll think it is part of his name.  When my niece, Naomi, was 3, she would tell everyone that her name was Adorable Naomi! 

I'm sure people thought, "What an original name!!  WE should have thought of that"

"Hello, my name is Adorable Leon!" 

It could be worse....

"Hello, my name is Stinky Leon." 

See?

Well... I need to get to work.  Three conference calls lined up today and my desk looks like someone took a box of papers and dumped them upside down on my desk.  I guess I should do a little Fridy Tidy before I get going on things.
