Tiffany is off for a job interview this morning.

Leon is starting either another cold or allergies...

I got some fine tuning done on the prom dress last night. However I think I'll spend this evening serging some of the seams. It's fringy... Does anyone do the seam finishing AFTER the dress is almost done? I should have planned ahead... Oh well. With any luck, it will be State fair quality...

Homemade pizza tonight for supper. Not sure who will be here besides me, but we'll see. I guess I can put whatever I WANT on the pizza tonight!!! Black olives & pepperoni, here I come!

I have a back scratcher on my desk and it has come in handy, OH so many times...

Last weekend, Meri and I attended the annual ISU Style show! Got inspired by so many things! Got disgusted by a few... I was inspired by the color blocked skinny jeans by J Brand.  The guest presenter is a designer for J Brand, so they showed their summer line.  Cool!  I might have to do something like this in a leggings type.  What do you think?

 

This one was a favorite of Meris, so now she wants to make a jacket out of a ton of long zippers.  Inspiration sneaks up on you!

Looking forward to a mission rally tomorrow. The presenter will be a teacher from the college that Maddy will be attending in the fall and from the area of study that she's interested in. Too bad Maddy will be too busy to go along.

Afterwards, Maddy will meet up with us and we'll take the prom dress to JoAnns and find buttons to finish it off. THEN I spend the rest of the day with Maddy standing on top of the piano bench modeling the dress while I figure out the hem.

With any luck, we'll be down one cat by the weekend, if we can find a taker for him... Anyone want a cat? Boy, no front claws... Is impatient with 1 year olds...

Meri took her moon project to school today and I'm looking forward to getting the dining room table back. Not that we use it for eating on much... But it would be nice to have something to throw our backpacks and random things on again...

Hoping my niece gets out of Boston and back home sometime soon! After the action last night, it sounds like all the Boston transportation systems, including airports are shut down... I think she was planning on flying out today. My nephew is back from his trip and waiting for her at home.

Anyway, my 10 minutes are up. Gotta get a lot of work done today so I can enjoy the weekend!
