My daughter's graduation party is in 1.5 weeks. Her graduation from high school in 2.5 weeks. The end of my sanity in 1.4 weeks, give or take...
Attended the LAST concert band and jazz band performance last night for Maddy. She presented the director with some gifts from all the Seniors. A certificate to dedicate the stage steps to him, as he'd taken a fall from the stage once... and a couple others based on some inside jokes, like an engagement ring ($8...) and a gift card so he can buy a new sweater.
I was a little sad with this being the last performance, but a long time friend sat next to me and we giggled and laughed through much of the band portion. That chick is a total nut and makes me laugh. a lot... We embarrassed Robb and I think some parents will avoid me from now on... :D After the band concert, she saw her husband and went to sit with him, but kept texting me throughout the rest of the performances.
It's rare when Leon is the best behaved at a concert...
With mostly Seniors in Jazz band, it'll be a whole new gang next year.
The seniors are wearing sequins and street clothes.
Not sure if I'll get to mow over lunch today. The sun is out but it's rained a lot in the past couple days and I don't know if it will be dry enough yet... Maybe. I'm willing to give it a shot. I hate piles of haymow on the yard!
The puppies are getting cuter! They sit up now and bark, just a little. I had to shut their gate door this morning because they're walking now too. Can't have them nosing around in the garage!!
A friend from church is in the hospital today after having a heart attack a couple days ago and a successful procedure yesterday. Planning on seeing her tonight before Bible study.
And just one more bit of random...
I WILL make a duct tape-true to size mannequin of each of my girls this summer! Not that I really needed to tell you guys this today, but maybe it will keep me honest and I'll actually do it... If I'm going to be sewing for Maddy while she's at college, she won't be around to try things on.
Have a great Wednesday!

Hum, a poem that has to do with May, said by a guy which means it rhymed....May, hay, lay, say, way, day, fay, gay, nay, pay, ray....Oh the possibility!
Looking forward to seeing the duct tape mannequin!
The duct tape mannequin sounds painful to take off. I hope you have a plan.
