I came into the house yesterday over my afternoon break and found this on my dining room table.
Meri had dug into the wedding gown she'd found at the Good Will and had removed the bodice, crinoline and lining from it. She hadn't found my seam ripper and had pulled it apart with a pin...
She and I looked at it closely and found that maybe to make it fit her, we'd put in a lacing up part on the back. I'd done that with the wedding gown a couple years ago and might remember how I did it...
She plans to cut it into a shorter spring dress and then dye it. This could work!
