Happy Reformation Day for those out there that celebrate that! And Happy Halloween for those of you that celebrate that! We celebrate one for sure and are part time Halloween people ourselves... This year we're going all out for Leon's sake. However the house is only decorated with some carved pumpkins... So I guess it's not ALL out.
Meri from 2006.
Got lots of running around to do tonight to see Ryan's haunted store front, trick or treat at my besties, then back to the house for chili and trick or treating around the neighborhood. As well as handing out fruit snacks to the kids that come to the door... because you and I know we won't be able to eat that many fruit snacks...
Ok, I may lie a little... We probably could eventually.
I have one more arm hole to finish on Meri's vest and then run a hot curling iron over it to distress it, then I'm DONE! It didn't turn out exactly as planned, but should last this evening. And just a hint for you guys that think working with lacing eyelets is fun... It's NOT! Most of them are falling off! I just hope it lasts long enough for a picture.
Got a cute black fleece hat for his bumblebee costume made for Leon and he liked it yesterday but today he was being disagreeable, so it didn't stay on long. I covered two straws with black fleece and then put a little yellow fleecy pom pom on the end of each antenna and it's sewn into the top. I hope he keeps it on long enough at the daycare party and tonight!
Anyway... Back to work! My to do list is a long one today.
Have a great spook night and eat lots of your kids candy so they won't get sick from eating too much!
