Child Star Anxiety

Here is the sewing project that I did on Sunday.  It was my bestie's birthday!  Several years ago, we got matching Wizard of Oz sweatshirts.  Mine got a stain on it just below the picture but I haven't had the heart to get rid of it all these years and it stayed in my clothes to recycle box with this in mind.  Since Ada is a huge fan AND a fan of purple, I combined the two and made the pillow.  That and the cake went over well.

I made a "from scratch" Dreidel cake from a holiday cookbook that I had and Meri made the frosting.  She had a great time with the powdered sugar and food coloring.

So did Leon...

Speaking of Leon...

He has seen the movie Frozen twice and the following video too many times to count.  Have you seen this one yet?  Those little girls so super cute when they sing "Let it go!"  And the yawns CRACK me up!!  Check them out at the 2 minute mark when they sing with their whole body!  ADORBS...

"Let it GOOO!!!"

So we've been trying to videotape Leon singing it, because he runs around the house singing it often.  You wouldn't guess that from the footage we have of him, because as soon as he sees the camera out, he insists you let him watch what you've recorded.

Here is our compilation so far...

I hope he doesn't end up like Miley or Bieber...  The stress!!!  the stress!!!

What a great idea for the pillow! Leon is a cute guy. Love the icing teeth!

Or he might be Miley and Bieber's kid?
That was such an awesome gift that you made for your bestie!!! You are adorable.

Love the pillow, so adorable! Would have been a terrible waste to have the t-shirt shredded or worse.

Cardinals are probably a sign of winter - they are more visible on bare branches and may also come closer to windows in search of food. Just my observation from the East Coast. ;-)

Loved reading about Maddy's visit and her college picture. Very sweet!
