An old friend that used to live in town and threatened to never talk to me again if I moved out of town, but then SHE did, invited us over for dinner last night.
She and her husband were the butt of many of our pranks.
SINCE she moved out of town and got a job 45 minutes away, we hardly ever see each other or talk.
She's one of those friends that if you manage to get her on the phone 4 months later, she's just as crazy as if it were yesterday.
Maybe she's just crazy in general...
Don't know.
Anyway, Robb, myself, Leon and the girls went over for a cookout and a movie. I felt like we were part of Mystery Science Theater 3000 for Big Trouble in Little China. Constantly mocking it or cracking jokes every now and then.
All we need are a few robot friends.
And her baked beans are to DIE for!!!
Anyway, we had a fun time and Meri had to leave her moped there due to the storm that passed through Iowa last night.
Robb took her over this morning to retrieve it.
Gotta run! Someone set up a meeting that's due to start in 20 minutes... Yikes!
