Detasseling sucks.

Dang.  Meri is back out in the cornfield today with her cell phone so I can't get photos off it yet...  There are some doozies!  

I didn't tell you!  She's on her second day of detasseling because of a mix up on Monday on where to meet the bus.  She texted me on her lunch break yesterday and all it said was, and I quote, "Detasseling sucks".  Yep, that was my experience with it too, but when I detasseled as a kid, I didn't have friends that I already knew working with me.  For Meri, there are at least 8 kids, mostly boys that she already knows from school and kind of likes a couple of them, working with her.  Plus, as a bonus, one of her friends, who's a boy,

has, for reals, a British accent...   and he's into zombies too.  Win! Win!

Oh Sluggy!  Maddy has some pinterest projects she wants us to work on with her on Saturday and/or Sunday when we have time.  You're crafty... right?  

Maybe Robb can give you bagpipe lessons around having you cut things out for Maddy...

A friend gave away a tv entertainment center on one of the Facebook swap pages and I snapped it up!  Well, not exactly SNAPPED, as it weighs approx 500 pounds and sat in our pick up for 3 days before Robb and Ryan helped me get it into my office...  It's going to be my fabric stash entertainment center instead of television.  With any luck, this will help me get somewhat more organized with my stash and I can browse and touch most fabrics while dreaming about what to sew.

It's a dream of mine anyway...  To pretend that I live in a fabric store...

Gotta run.  Big things coming down the pike today for work and I need to get a jump start on it.
