Speaking of Leon, he is gone until tomorrow. I worked in the garage last night and actually made a dent and a partial ripple. If Leon were here, he'd be throwing the horseshoes and insisting on me getting the baby toys down for him to play with... Or the Barbie jeep, which I refuse to get down. It's way up there! The garage is satisfactory enough to make me not want to barf until at least Monday.

Speaking of greatness, how great is it that a couple radio stations are trying out the weekend by playing Christmas music?! Historically, THIS is the weekend that if Maddy is driving and discovers the station, she'll drive off the road in her excitement. Don't go anywhere today hon!
Speaking of honey, I want to pick some more up and make some granola this weekend.
Speaking of weekends, Meri's Christmas Thanksgiving party tomorrow night will most likely be cancelled. Too many of her friends, that LOVE Christmas Thanksgiving as much as she does, are saying they can't come due to other commitments... Bummer! Oh well. I'm sure she'll find something fun to do.
Speaking of fun things to do, I managed to sew a quick gift last night!!! I'll be secretive about it, so don't click here. It went together SO fast and that's when I discovered that we have about 1/4 cup rice left...
Speaking of rice, I plan to make that sample veil for Amanda's wedding tomorrow afternoon. Of course after I work on my skirt!
Speaking of work, I better get to it. If I don't get through today, I can't have a weekend!

Not the flu?! I hope it stays away. Love the tutorial you linked. I am about to get into the sewing room to work on the borders for the Nora/Ava quilt that I've been working on since June. I'm going to finish it before the move!
Speaking of references it took me a minute to get from 1/4 cup rice to a sample veil but then it hit me. Speaking of getting hit there's a kitten hanging from the curtains...excuse me...
