I went to all three of Meri's play this weekend! Talk about OVER relaxation!! Plus I got cookies at intermission so that was cool...
The one on Saturday night was the most eventful with Maddy there as well as my niece Sarah and Leon. He found a stray balloon in the high school hallway and was basically wound up the entire night. I think everyone around us in the audience was wishing there was some place else to sit, but as it stands they were mostly sold out both Friday and Saturday night...
Each actor started getting more and more comfortable with their parts as the productions went on, adlibbing as much as possible and getting goofier as the evening went on. Meri's yodeling should NOT have concerned her choir teacher who had told her that yodeling was bad for vocal health. I'm not exactly sure what that means, except that yodeling can get addictive and at a certain point there is no going back.
It's kind of like crack...
On Saturday I went to my sewing group meeting and got inspired to sew, sometime... It was a fun meeting. The lady who gave the presentation is an FCS teacher (Home Ec teacher to us old fogies...) in a local high school and talked about her classes. Apparently the kids in her area of the city are VERY into sewing. Pretty exciting!
Maddy had just gotten home for the weekend by the time I got home. Sarah showed up in time for super secret steak night and after supper we headed over to the play.
Sunday, there was a meal after church to celebrate the baptism of the newest baby. My camera must have gotten set to wide lens, which I didn't even know it had, because all the pics I took made everyone looked scrunched! Should make for an interesting church Historian's book entry!!
In the above photo, before I realized how my camera was set, my pastor looked like a lawn gnome...
Actually...
Maddy took off to get back to campus mid afternoon and after taking Leon to do a belated trick or treating at his other grandma's house, he and I tackled the garage.
Yes Sluggy!!! It will get under control!! Well... one little corner did anyway, but you have to start somewhere. I don't want to have to blindfold everyone that wants to come out to my office via the garage, do I? I'm being ruthless and will probably do a garbage & goodwill/Salvation Army run mid week as well as this next weekend.
I'm sure I'll be yodeling about it when it's all done!

Meri looks so great!
After reading your posts, I always feel like Leon....worn out. LOL!
Good luck with the decluttering of the garage.
