Haircuts make good friends

On Sunday, we took the girls & Leon to the HyVee Chinese deli for lunch, meeting up with a young couple from church and their toddler daughter. 

I got disgusted with the horrible hair trimming I'd done on Leon a few months back and figured he was due for his first professional cut, so we hit Great Clips right after.

He was SUCH a big boy sitting there for the stylist!  He even chit chatted about his aunt Meri sitting in the next styling booth getting a trim and how he went sledding yesterday.  HE got a sucker.  What did "I" get?!  The bill.

The next day I caught him primping in the bathroom.  He doesn't normally let ANYONE comb his hair, but he does it himself now and likes it!  He had informed us that he has "nice hair". 

And yes he does...

We've been entertaining Maddy's boyfriend for the last few days.  Well Maddy has really...  He'll be here until tomorrow.  He seems to fit in with our family really well!  Maybe we're aren't as crazy of a family as I thought!  

Or maybe he's just as nutty as we are...

 

 He has more facial hair now than a couple months ago when this was taken.

We like him.

Oh and SHE was showing him the photo albums last night!  

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing it was her potty training years...
