Random as a Monkey Snack

Leon climbed into my bed this morning and said he wanted to cuddle because he was so tired.  It was still dark outside, so he probably thought it was still night time.

He cuddled up to me and asked me to read (tell) him a story about Batman saving him from a sharp tail but it turned into the sharp tail taking off with his Daddy and his Daddy saved the day.  And then another just about when Batman saved him.  The stories got shorter and shorter...  "Once upon a time, Leon got in trouble...  And then Batman saved him."  (Not the most popular plot...)  

But finally I had to get up and moving.

Looking forward to Leon's birthday party in a couple weeks.  We'll get to see Maddy plus one!  Hi Matthew!  Unfortunately I've got a sewing meeting that morning, but will be spending all afternoon helping Maddy and others spoil Leon at the party.

I made 5 gallons of laundry detergent last night...  I had read the directions wrong, so it's actually ten gallons, but I don't have another 5 gallon bucket cleaned out yet.  I had to use the blender to mix it all up again this morning after adding a few more gallons of hot water.  What a mess!  I know it's totally worth every penny a batch, but yikes!  I'll probs have to blend it up again when I do clean up the other bucket.

The newsletter for my sewing meeting is due again soon.  WHERE does the time go?  

I think somewhere into the laundry along with unpartnered socks.

I got to see Meri for all of 30 seconds yesterday and so far today about 2 minutes.  I think her schedule is more harried than Maddy's was a few years back!  

I guess I'd do the same thing if I could.  And I guess I DID when I commuted in college.  So many meetings and classes all the time...  I was rarely home.  I guess it's hereditary.
