Random Assets

I know it was VERY short lived on TV, but I'm really enjoying the tv mini-series, The Assets from 2014.  It's about the real life events leading up to the capture of one of the largest seller of asset information to a foreign government in history.  I'm up to the final two episodes and things are heating up!  Maybe I'm more interested in the fashion sense of the folks back in the 80s and 90s...  

Nah - it's the hunt!

Leon is a doll.  Maddy and Meri had him over for a sleepover last night.  I found him sleeping on the couch upstairs when I came down this morning.  I'm still not exactly sure how he got there.

Direct quote from Leon: "There's not room, Honey!"

A friend from church is going to go see her brother who is in the same nursing home as my dad this weekend.  They are RIGHT across the hall from each other and she's said she'll pop in to say Hi.  Small world!

BTW: Dad is doing great!  His back doctor gave him the all clear and he can put up to 50 lbs of weight on his broken leg now!  He has a special boot that beeps when he presses too hard.  Whew!  I don't think I'd be able to gauge how much was 50 lbs if I didn't have something like that either!

Mom sprained her ankle and broke her glasses, all in the same day.  

While Dad got great news, she didn't...  

Gotta run!  Lots to do before 10am and a mystery solution to pull out of the air before then too.  

Should be a hopping day!

Oh!  And I've got a blood letting tonight!  Blood drive...  FUN TIMES!  And this time I KNOW where the drive is being held!!!  That really makes a difference.
